Postponed - Burn in Nick's Hole
Because of the demands of the 1000 acre wildfire in Tate’s Hell and unfavorable weather conditions generally, Florida Forest Service postponed the prescribed burn of Nick’s Hole area until December of this year or early 2014. Meanwhile we can all enjoy the beautiful, cleared “old growth “ area and the trail from there to the Nick’s Hole Cove. Thanks to SGPOA staff and owner volunteers who made the area so accessible. Within the next few months, ANERR will follow through on plans to install interpretive kiosks and signage.
